That's what I did. I left Yuma. Headed North, planning to work my way over to Wickenburg for the big rodeo this weekend. I took it easy today, caught up on some reading, got Betsy's fluids topped off and her tires checked. Didn't make it over to the old Territorial Prison, or a couple of other things I wanted to check out, but my feet started itching and I decided to leave something for next time. Besides, what's Yuma without Thea?

Terrific little painting! Yuma was a good stop. You did some nice paintings and got lots done. Anxious to hear about the Wickenburg Rodeo.
I wonder how long it would take to get to your ranch from town on horseback. He is leaving in good day light because he had to make it home before darkness came. The sky is so beautiful and the town was never that busy until a wagon train or ranchers needed supplies. Your detailing, really makes the painting come alive.
