THE BRAVEST THING YOU CAN DO
Oil on Panel / 6 x 6 Inches
Abstract Monday again. My whole career has been so dedicated to the depiction of realistic subject oriented work that I find it really amazing the way I look forward to doing these little abstract pieces. Thay aren't any easier to do; in fact, they can be more difficult at times than a subject I'm familiar with. They just interest me because of the way they suggest problems and solutions, and the way I never know until the end what they're going to be like. They seem to have a life of there own, the way writers often say their characters take over.

My very favorite of the abstracts. They are beginning to please my critical eye.
Your abstracts are getting better and better (in my view). Lovely soft colors in this one with the exception of the one dark accent that gives it lots of life and movement.
Yes, I too love the beautiful tones. And the gradient shadings of color; the feeling of space. And, as a New Mexican, I can’t help seeing a dark red chile here.
