COFFEE SHOP / Daily Painting #994

Oil on Paper Mounted on Panel / 6 x 6 Inches

I decided it was about time for another painting in my Everyday People Series, and this fellow has been kicking around in the back of my head for a couple of months. I really enjoy working on this series that I started back around 1978 or ’79. For a painter and habitual people watcher it just comes naturally.

  1. Primo, The only problem with your great portraits is that the people probably will never get to see them. Loved this one! Kayce

  2. I remember always ready to go to a coffee shop. Had round tables so you could sit and talk to others. Looks like he is calling his friends with his cell phone. History is kept by paintings.
