Whoa! I've done it again. I hit the wrong button and posted before midnight. This is actually the painting for June 29, not June 28.

Oil on Paper Mounted on Panel / 6 x 6 Inches

This is the cook's room, just off the kitchen of the John Lorenzo Hubbell home at the Hubbell Trading Post National Historic Site in Ganado, Arizona.

  1. Love this little jewel. Every time we have visited the Hubble Trading post my imagination has enjoyed a visit to the way folks lived in the past and the influence they have had on my life.

  2. I agree Thea. John’s paintings keeping history from being changed is one of the reasons I enjoy them. I really think they were happier because they had more freedom than we have today. His paintings showing places that I never knew about. Thank you John for these history lessons.
