SOMEONE’S UNCLE / Daily Painting #1026

Oil on Paper Mounted on Panel / 6 x 6 Inches

This fellow, a part of my Everyday People Series, looks like an uncle to me. A hard working railroader, maybe, or a miner or lumberjack, the type who would come to visit two or three times a year, full of fascinating stories, and with a healthy appetite. The kind I grew up around.

OK, those who know me know I never grew up. But you know what I mean.

If you would like to own today's painting, just send your bid in an email to:, or call Thea at 505 982-4561

  1. These kind of Uncle’s are the best to have. I had an uncle just like that living in Grand Junction Colo. Always happy and his stories made the party.
