NAVAJO DOLL / Daily Painting #1070

Pen and Ink and Watercolor / 6 x 9 Inches

This little lady is based, loosely, on a doll that's been in our collection for about as long as we've been together. I'll bet she could tell some interesting stories if she could talk.

This is number fourteen in the popular new “Confections” series. I'm having a great time with these, and apparently so are many of you. Be the first person in with a $100 bid, and it's yours! That's right, the first hundred takes it. Don't wait!

Send your bid in an email to: farnsworthgallery@newmex.com, or call Thea at 505 982-4561

Touch here to see more confections.

It’s time to start getting ready for THE KACHINAS ARE COMING. That’s the big Kachina show Thea wil be putting together of my Kachina paintings the first of September at David Anthony Fine Arts, here in Taos. I hope to see you there!

Please remember that if you would like to commission a larger version of your favorite subject, if you would like to check on the availability of a given image, or if you would like to schedule a workshop, we are just a phone call away, at 505 982-4561, or you can email us at: john@johnfarnsworth.com

  1. Arrrrrggh John, you’re killing me here. Really appreciate you’re squiggly yet killer-accurate drawing, and how about that gorgeous ginham skirt?! Masterful. as always

  2. Just dropped this one off to the framer. Even if some lucky bidder wins the opportunity to own her, she is going to be part of the 44th annual Kachina exhibition. Yes, yes, I know she is a Navajo Doll not a Kachina but she can join the show anyway. I am not a Kachina and I will be there! It’s going to be a happy reception.
