WINDMILL AND SCOOTER, VEJER DE LA FRONTERA / Daily Painting #1094

Watercolor / 6 x 8 inches

Vejer de la Frontera was the first of the Pueblos Blancos, white villages of Andalucia, that I encountered on my visit to Spain a few years ago. Other villages, like Arcos and Ronda are more famous, more visited and more tourist oriented. Msore spectacular. But because it was my first, Vejer remains my favorite. Someday, I hope to return and paint them all. Who knows, maybe next year?

  1. The green grass and the beautiful color of the road makes the windmill show real feeling and satisfaction. The two on the motor bike know it was very beneficial. It may become that way again in the future.
