Here's a character study from last year's Gold Rush Days in Wickenburg, Arizona. There were parades, rodeos, cookouts, and a classic car show, so I got a lot of research material while I was there.

  1. Your agility with pen and brush is genius!
I love framing these in elegant but small gold molding with a second tiny hit of a gold “fill it” between the frame and the painting. They are so lovely and certainly capture the interest of the viewer.

  2. He is a Dandy. Seeing him makes me homesick. Would love to hear his tales of life. When we drove to Prescott, always went thru Wickenburg just to stop at the drugstore fountain just to get the thick ice cream malts. Can’t remember the name. Maybe you can tell me.
