BARNYARD BOSS / Daily Painting #1150

Pen and Ink / Watercolor / 6 x 9 inches

Here’s one more “confection”, a rooster that we raised from a chick, along with another rooster and a variety of hens eight or ten years ago in what seems like another life already. There's just nothing more soothing to me than a yard full of clucking, pecking, scratching, contented chickens.

Be the first person in with a $100 bid, because the first hundred takes it!

  1. GREAT ROOSTER – IT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE I WAS IN THE BACK YARD WITH A VARIETY OF HENS – NOTHING MORE SOOTHING THAN A YARD FULL OF CLUCKING PECKING SCRATCHING HENS.
    KEEP A WET BRUSH !

  2. He is one handsome Rooster. Feathers fluffed out, enforcing and exercising his authority. Better mind the laws of his barnyard. I know the hens are producing good eggs. Every hen should be given the right to go and scratch in the barnyard. Helps them produce better eggs the way nature intended.
