Casa Laura Sunset / Watercolor and Ink / 6 x 9 inches

This was the view from the terrace of Casa Laura this evening. Sort of.

We spent today checking out the town, getting our bearings, changing some cash, and stocking up on groceries at the giant, well stocked Mega superstore.

Lunch among the expats at the cafe inside the Biblioteca, The English language library. Felt a lot like Dallas

Kay and Charles, our dear, long time friends formerly from Taos, now from San Miguel, joined us for the evening. We all had a great time catching up while watching the sunset, then ordered pizza for dinner.

All in all not a very Mexican day, but it wasn't cold! And getting together with old friends was really great.

¡Hasta Mañana!

  1. The beautiful sunset colors to me have always been my favorite. The True Artist knew when he was making them that a certain man named John would come and make them even more beautiful. Thank you, John.
