The Red Jeep / Watercolor and Ink / 6 x 9 inches

Sorry for the late post. We've been having problems with both wifi and cellular. Hope to have at least cellular resolved later today. Wifi still internittent, but seems to be working for the moment.

Loud fireworks erupted in the neighborhood at around 5:30 yesterday morning; coinciding with the time of my birth 73 years ago. Seemed appropriate. 😉

The rest of the day was spent window shopping, lunch overlooking the Jardin, or main Plaza, running errands, etc.

We then joined Gari and Kayce, Charles and Kay, for dinner on the rooftop terrace of La Posadita Restaurant, where we watched the day turn to gold, then subtle dusk, and, finally, inky darkness. Next door, the bells of the Parroquia rang out, roving minstrels sang one of my favorite songs, Volver, Volver, the restaurant staff sang Feliz Cumpleaños, Happy Birthday, while I attempted to blow out the candle in the middle of a most delicious flan. Thanks Gari and Kayce, for a wonderful evening.

After returning home, Thea realized she had left her iPhone on the table at the restaurant. gari and I called a cab and went back for it. Whew. Problem solved. Until we got home and I realized my keys were missing! Just then, the taxi that had taken us back to the restaurant pulled up and the driver asked are these your keys? Luckily, he had spotted them on the seat of the cab, and waited for us to return.

So everything turned out fine… Until I tried posting today's image. But you already know about that, so I'm off to see what I can do to fix it.

¡Hasta Mañana!
