BACK ROAD TO TZINTZUNTZAN / Daily Painting #1232

Kay drove us out to Tzintzuntzan today, along the old road along the shores of Lake Janitzio. The road was paved and in good condition, twisting and turning, up, then down. Along the way, I spotted these two walking along the side of the road and the idea for today's painting began to grow.

Kay and Charles bought a pair of chairs made from reeds, the reason for the trip, Thea scored a straw sombrero, and we had a delicious lunch at a roadside hotel restaurant.mine was the best Mojarra Frita I've ever had

Uh oh, I see it's past two am, and we have a big day ahead of us tomorrow. So I'm off to a nice warm bed in this chilly room.

¡Hasta Mañana!
