Flower Shop, Gaucín, Spain / Ink and Watercolor / 6 x 9 Inches
Gaucín is one of the beautiful white villages, los Pueblos Blancos, scattered like jewels across southern Spain's Andalucia autonomous region. It was here that I spent the night recently with our good friends, Peggy and Steve Immel, noted painter and photographer, respectively, from Taos. They had rented a delightful small apartment in the heart of Gaucín, home of a number of expat artists.
Such a sweet spot. I remember it fondly. I love your ink and watercolors. This one’s a beauty.
This is so mediterranean, John! Beautiful! Lovely colors! I have to admit I missed your watercolor paintings these past few months:-)!
Flowers adds beauty to everything. When a lady is given a flower or flowers she thinks of love and beauty. Thank you for bringing Spain to me. Really enjoying your paintings and pictures.
