  1. You are doing a John Marin thing with these recent paintings. He believed that the composition should always remain fully within the picture plane with nothing left out beyond the edges. He too often drew a boundary around the subject. I like it!!

  2. I don’t know the year Doctors started showing on the scene. He does resemble one. They called them witch doctors. I have always wondered why they called them witches. Love the colors. Really makes his eye stand out gives him a scary look and also a cute look.
