HOW SUITE IT IS / Daily Painting #1310

How Suite It Is / Oil on Paper Mounted on Panel / 6 x 6 Inches / Click on the Image to Enlarge

You know how I love painting “found” still lifes. After six weeks or so in hotel rooms in Spain, a few nights in a Santa Fe Suite while getting Betsy repaired and taking care of some other business really was kind of sweet. Having a kitchen, a refrigerator, a breakfast counter and separate desk, plus a comfy sofa and plenty of space really makes a difference. Oh, spoil me.

  1. Well done, especially the bottle, which is a great focal point, though it is off-center of
the composition. Wall color and texture is good too. Interesting.

  2. Like the bottle the way it is. Really shows the toaster and the coffee pot. The toaster almost looks like some animal with it mouth wide open and is ready to be fed. This is a good conversation piece. Really fits in a kitchen.
