KENNEDY’S HAY BARN, LUKAICHUKAI / Daily Painting #1410

Kennedy’s Hay Barn / Ink and Watercolor / 7 x 10 Inches / Daily Painting #1410

Forty six years ago, I made a small pencil sketch of the hay barn at Kennedy’s Trading Post at Lukaichukai, Arizona, on the Navajo Reservation. Today, I made this watercolor based on that early drawing. So how long does it take to do one of these daily paintings? Sometimes, a very long time.

  1. WOW ! CAN’T BELIEVE YOU CAN REMEMBER A SKETCH FROM 40 YEARS AGO. . . GOOD JOB –
HOPE YOU HAVE SOME MORE. . .
    KEEP A WET BRUSH !

  2. Keep it up. You surely have more in your back files that were started and then set aside. It would be interesting to see them. Glad to see your keeping your mental acquisitiveness in working order.
