Tin Trike / Ink and Watercolor / 7 x 10 Inches / Daily Painting #1417

I found this toy tricycle with the happy boy on it in a shop in Phoenix last week. It reminded me of the joy I felt when riding my own trike on the board sidewalk on West Riordan Road in Flagstaff, Arizona in the early 1940s. And of the hours of fun, playing with tin wind-up toys with my cousins, Roger and Martin, Billy and Mickey, and Larry. I hope it will stir some fond memories for you.
