FACE OF A SAINT VIII / Daily Painting #1420

Face of a Saint VIII / Ink and Watercolor / 7 x 10 Inches / Daily Painting #1420

OK, I think we can now officially call this a series. The more of them I do, the more ideas I have.

My friend Troy Brown wants me to continue, but stick with watercolor. We’ll see. Maybe both, oils and watercolors. Also, I may very well do some larger pieces as time allows.

My friend and fellow blogger Gena LaCoste, up in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada, says a show may be in order. Who knows? It would be fun to see a large group of them all together. But where? Any ideas, anyone?

  1. THESE PIECES ARE REALLY UNUSUAL AND THE FORMAT SEPARATES IMAGES FROM THE NORM. . .
I JUST LIKE WATERCOLOR – AND YOU ARE THE BEST. . .
    KEEP A WET BRUSH !

  2. Know you are really enjoying painting these Saints. The expressions in the eyes and faces really show really show. They all really need to be put on display. The garments are outstanding. A real part of History that should be kept alive.
