Face of a Saint IX / Ink and Watercolor / 7 x 10 Inches / Daily Painting #1421

And the Faces of Saints series just keeps rolling along. I don't yet know where this is taking me, but I am enjoying the ride. I know, from your comments, that some of you are, too.

Thea's cousin, Cheryl, suggested over on Facebook, mentioned an art show in Jan-Feb at the Franciscan Renewal Center in Scottsdale, and suggested that would be a great place to show a series of Saints. I will look into it.

Anyone else? Any ideas? I am listening.

  1. Oh John, this one is so exquisite! This is turning into quite a masterworks. I think the gov’t of N.Mexico should buy the series for the historical/artistic value. Can’t you see them hanging in a row at the state capitol or in the governor’s mansion?! Just absolutely outstanding.

  2. Her disposition is expressing gentleness, tenderness, and softness.
There has to be someone who knows all about their history and where it is stored. Will also need some interesting stories about them.
