FACE OF A SAINT XV / Daily Painting #1427

Face of a Saint XV / Ink and Watercolor / 7 x 10 Inches / Daily Painting #1427

Sorry, no video yet today. I keep finding neat new things I can do with it, and ways to make it better. The learning curve is a bit steeper than expected, too. Maybe tomorrow…

Meanwhile, here's one that's just a bit different than the others. The face is still the thing, but I just couldn't ignore that great tin crown. Besides, it's a series, not a straight jacket, right? Who knows? This could even morph into larger paintings, including oils, and maybe full figures. I'm thinking of other possibilities, as well, but I'd better not spill the beans too soon…

    1. Nice one John. I love the subtle hands revealing a feeling of devotion. Your followers will have quite a delightful surprise when they see these powerful 7 x 10 inch paintings in person. I am anxious to get them in the gallery at a value they deserve. Auction buyers are so smart to collect these now!

    2. Looks like he is making a reverent petition to God to seek HIS Will. Shows his attitude and devotion standing out among others of his kind.
