FACE OF A SAINT XXVI / Daily Painting #1438

Face of a Saint XXVI / Ink and Watercolor / 7 x 10 Inches / Daily Painting #1438

Didn't find the paper I needed at the Expo, but I did score some at Artisans in Santa Fe. While at the Expo, though, I picked up a very nifty little Schminke watercolor palette that I've been wanting for a very long time.

It's been great, getting away from the computer wars for a day, and a little change of scenery is always welcome. i plan on locking myself in my room, tomorrow, and getting to grips with my video project. Fingers crossed.

    1. SEEMS THE SKIN TONES OR THE PORCELAIN LOOK HAS GOTTEN DARKER FROM IMAGE #1433 TO IMAGE #1438. . . ARE YOU USING DIFFERENT PAINT ?
      KEEP A WET BRUSH !

    2. The hair and steel-blue eyes represented Christ’s eyes after he arose from the dead. Luke, ON THE WAY TO EMMAUS.
Not sure if this is who he supposed to represent. The steel-blue eyes drew my attention and then saw the hair. Not sure about the helmet he is wearing. Painting these Saints is truly an eye opener.

        1. Really enjoy your paintings. I never know what is coming next. That is why they are so great. Love the way you have updated your blog.
