FACE OF A SAINT XXXV / Daily Painting #1447

Face of a Saint XXXV / Ink and Watercolor / 7 x 10 Inches / Daily Painting #1447

My apologies for this late post. Technical problems combined with busy but thoroughly enjoyable serial visits from family and friend houseguests for the past several days (weeks?) are partly responsible. As am I, of course.

The Santo inspiration for today’s image is from Dwellings Revisited, the shop of our dear friend, Cam Martin, on Bent Street, here in Taos. Cam’s is a great little store jam-packed with I want ’ems. Thanks, Cam!

To own today’s painting, send your bid in now…

  • Starting bid $200
  • By email, to: farnsworthgallery@newmex.com, or call 505 982-4561.

  • Bidding will close at Noon, MST, October 28, 2014.

  • The winning bidder will be notified by email the following day.

  • Paintings will be shipped as soon as the paint dries to insure safe packing. (Please allow two weeks).

Please tell a friend about us and remember, these little gems make terrific gifts.

Click on afarnsworthaday.com to see past daily paintings. If you see one that you would like for your own collection, please give Thea a call at 505 982-4561, or send her an email at farnsworthgallery@ newmex.com for price and availability.

I did it! I finally finished my first video demonstration and it’s up and running on YouTube!

Please watch, like, share, tell your friends, and, please, let me know what you think of it in the comments, or drop me an email with your impressions. Click here to watch the video. Some have requested background music. I am considering it, but so far am convinced you would like hearing music of your own choosing better than any thing I might come up with. Any more thoughts out there?

By the way, if you are having a problem with the links to the video, just go to YouTube and search for Farnsworth Watercolor. That should get you there.

  1. This Saint shows fullness and expressiveness in manner and meaning. Not sure he was real. Wonder if they were worshipping him?
