Face of a Saint XXXVII / Ink and Watercolor / 7 x 10 Inches / Daily Painting #1449

Here’s another from Dwellings Revisited in Taos. I’m not entirely sure this one is considered a Saint. A Santo? Maybe, I don’t know. Does anyone out there know? I’ll bet everyone knows who it is, though.

I did it! I finally finished my first video demonstration and it’s up and running on YouTube!

Please watch, like, share, tell your friends, and, please, let me know what you think of it in the comments, or drop me an email with your impressions. Click here to watch the video. Some have requested background music. I am considering it, but so far am convinced you would like hearing music of your own choosing better than any thing I might come up with. Any more thoughts out there?

By the way, if you are having a problem with the links to the video, just go to YouTube and search for Farnsworth Watercolor. That should get you there.

  1. This guy’s eyes! Many of your Santo’s have these big liquid black eyes John. Must be the Spaniards that they are modeled after, eh? This guy looks like he could be a bit of a rebel all right, but we need those too!

  2. Wonder if he was the one that started the saying, An Apple a Day keeps the doctor away? Those eye are very expressive.

  3. By golly I believe we have Adam here. No clothes, etc. Where is Eve?
Neither one would be considered saints, but they are major biblical characters.
