Another iPhone photo from yesterday's excursion. I've gone all iPhone since leaving for my recent trip to Mexico. I did take my long zoom Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40, but only used it briefly, when my iPhone's battery ran down at the end of a long day of shooting at a Charreada or Mexican Rodeo.

I have been hooked on zoom lenses since the '60s, and I have had some trouble letting go of them. The challenge and satisfaction of working within the limitations of mobile photography, though, have made the transition bearable. So for now, it's all iPhone for me.

There is another major reason that I hope to tell you about tomorrow. Hint: It involves travel.

Stay tuned…

  1. Ya got the eye!! When I saw you stop to shoot this, my thought was, “he will shoot any ol’ thing.” It was fun at dinner as you scrolled through your shots of the day to have folks at neighboring tables enjoy your day’s collection of lovely photographs.🤓
