ALONE

This little sunflower, standing and glowing all alone, posing, it seems in front of a child's rusted antique wagon, has a power to please that would be diminished in a group. This corner of Thea's garden has come alive with the appearance of this lonesome bit of joy.

    1. It is sad to see so many farm homes not being lived in today. I loved living on the farm and did not want to leave and live in the city. Enjoyed the freedom, the neighbors, the cattle, and our pets. Now the house still stands but the roof has a big hole from the trees that are around it.
