JEFF OLIVER, ON THE HIGH ROAD TO TAOS

JEFF image-85C9974F0FBE-1.jpeg

That’s Jeff, my Grandson-in-law, husband of Emily, father of Brianna and baby Hazel, gone wild with his iPhone, shooting up a storm. I think I’ve met my match!

Classical Gas

CLASSICAL GAS MUSEUM EMBUDO New Mexico IMG_0070 2.JPG

The Classical Gas Museum in Embudo, New Mexico. How many times have I hurried past? Someday, soon I hope, I’m going to stop, go in, take my time, and, maybe, get some good photographs.

My friend, photographer Steve Bundy, tells me it’s full of interesting old stuff.

Being a bit of old stuff myself, I expect I will thoroughly enjoy my visit.

WEST ON 10 / Daily Painting #961

Oil on Paper Mounted on Panel / 6 x 6 Inches

Freeways are something I avoid whenever I can. Between Tucson and Phoenix, I much prefer the Pinal Pioneer Parkway, a more leisurely drive; scenic, and lined with giant Saguaro and Ocotillo Cactus and other beautiful desert flora.

Occasionally, though, time constraints find me driving up Interstate Ten. Usually boring, for the most part, it can be a more exciting and beautiful drive during the rainy season, when the skies take over. Especially toward day's end.

NOTE! I have a special new WORKSHOP coming up in July. Click HERE for details. I hope you can join us.
