The Classical Gas Museum in Embudo, New Mexico. How many times have I hurried past? Someday, soon I hope, I’m going to stop, go in, take my time, and, maybe, get some good photographs.
My friend, photographer Steve Bundy, tells me it’s full of interesting old stuff.
Being a bit of old stuff myself, I expect I will thoroughly enjoy my visit.
I love shooting candid portraits, using available light, with my iPhone. This shot, however was taken with my Panasonic Lumix TZ-5, before I had an iPhone.
Meanwhile, over on Instagram, three days ago, I was honored to be chosen as “BnWButNot of the Week”, or Black and White But Not, for my candid sepia portrait of a Taos Pow Wow participant on Instagram’s @bnwbutnot gallery, out of some 265 thousand plus images. I invite you to follow my Instagram feed, @johnfarnsworthphotographer on Instagram, or, if you prefer, on my website, johnfarnsworthphotographer.com/instagram
Unless otherwise noted, all my Instagram images are shot on an iPhone.

While photographing this old truck covered with snow, I saw something move in the shadows beneath it. Soon, this little fellow peeked out, a tiny kitten, perfectly framed by the old truck.
You never know what you might find if you keep your eyes and your mind open when out photographing. I certainly got lucky on this day.

OK, I promised I would start today telling you about the projects I've been working on lately. All I can tell you right now is that I wrapped one of them up late last night. I can't spill the beans just yet, as I still have a bit of tidying up to do. But…
Tomorrow, I will give you a sneak peek!
